Cody J. Dalton worked in the private sector specializing in all aspects of real estate law until joining the County Attorney’s office in 2021. While serving the County Attorney’s office he also maintains his private practice offering a broad range of services including those related to real estate law, estate planning, and employment law. Cody graduated from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University and has been a lifelong resident in the greater Cincinnati area.

Steve joined the County Attorney’s Office in April 2015 as the Chief of the Criminal Division and is responsible for prosecution of criminal cases and day to day operations of the County Attorney’s Criminal Division Office. Prior to joining the County Attorney’s Office, Steve spent several years in private practice out of Fort Thomas after graduating from Northern Kentucky University.

Alex is an experienced trial litigator whose private practice focuses on consumer protection, bankruptcy, and domestic law cases. Alex has litigated multiple consumer-driven class action lawsuits, leading to changes in Kentucky law and the return of millions of dollars in wrongfully collected fees. Alex formerly served as a Covington City Commissioner and lives in Ft. Mitchell with his wife, Emily, and their four children.

Michelle Eviston joined the Child Support Office in December 2015. Michelle’s responsibilities include supervising all child support cases before the Campbell County Family Court and several administrative functions to ensure that collections and paternity issues are resolved efficiently. Prior to joining the Child Support Office, Michelle clerked for Judge Fred A. Stine, V., Campbell County Circuit Court.

Prior to joining the Campbell County Attorney’s Office in 2016, Adam was an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Boone and Gallatin Counties and in Campbell County for over ten years. Adam works part time now as prosecutor and child support attorney. He also maintains his private practice where he focuses on helping people who have been injured due to the negligence of others.

Eric joined the Campbell County Attorney's Office in July 2022. Eric also maintains his private practice, which focuses on bankruptcy, foreclosure defense, personal injury, and family law cases. Eric is a lifelong Campbell County resident who currently lives in Highland Heights with his wife and son.

Zach S. Smith joined the Campbell County Attorney’s office after over a decade of working in the private and public sectors. Zach worked as a felony prosecutor in Kentucky’s 54th Judicial Circuit, and he has maintained a private practice specializing in family law and general civil litigation. Zach lives with his family in Campbell County.

Jane joined the staff of the Campbell County Attorney’s Office in 2024, having retired from her position as a Boone Family Court Staff Attorney in 2022. She served as the First Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Boone and Gallatin Counties from 2000-2018. Jane practices primarily in the Family Court and maintains a criminal docket. She lives with her family in Union.

Pat has been engaged in private practice of law since 1980, with an emphasis in probate and domestic-relations law. He served as Master Commissioner for twenty-four years and since 2011, he has served as an Assistant Campbell County Attorney. Pat lives in Melbourne with his wife Charlotte Ritter Walsh and they have two children, Kate and Megan. Pat has also worked as a volunteer at Parish Kitchen in Covington since 1998

Prior to joining the County Attorney’s Office in March of 2025, Richard served as Campbell County Family Court Judge for 12 years. He retired from that position on January 1, 2023. He had a private practice of law in Alexandria, KY for 24 years prior to being elected as Family Court Judge. Richard also served as an assistant county prosecutor for a period of 7 years while in private practice. Prior to entering private practice, he was a staff attorney for Donald C. Wintersheimer in the Kentucky Court of Appeals and the Kentucky Supreme Court, and served several years as a staff Attorney with the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
